8ビット風ゲームで最新ゲームをプロモーションするというユニークな試みです。
Ubisoftは『H.A.W.X 2』の8ビット版（？）『H.A.W.X 2 - The 8-bit Game』を公開しました。『H.A.W.X 2』は10月7日に発売予定の戦闘機アクション。様々な戦闘機を操り、反政府組織との戦いに挑みます。
『H.A.W.X 2 - The 8-bit Game』は8ビット風の縦スクロールシューティング。海外版の公式サイトで公開されており、無料でプレイできます。シューティングゲームのファンなら懐かしくなってくるテイスト。複数の機体が用意されており、巨大ボスも登場するなどおまけゲームとは思えない作りになっています。
スクリーンショットやムービーのみでなく、こうしたプロモーションが増えていくといいですね。
