エレクトロニック・アーツは、Wii向け『タイガー・ウッズPGA TOUR 09 ALL-PLAY』を3月19日に発売しました。本作は「ALL-PLAY」として、Wiiリモコンの特徴を最大限に生かして、上級者から初心者まで広く、手軽に楽しめるゴルフゲームの最新作となっています。価格は6090円。
本作の新機能として導入されているのは、タイガー・ウッズ選手のスウィングコーチであるハンク・ヘイニー氏がプレイヤーにアドバイスをくれる「マイコーチ」機能です。ヘイニー氏の助言を受けながら、キャリアを積み上げ、FedExCupなどトーナメント優勝を目指します。また、各ラウンドでもヘイニー氏がプレイ評価をしてくれます。
また、こちらも新機能となる「クラブ調整」では、ドライバー、フェアウェイウッド、アイアン、ウェッジの4種類のクラブを試し打ちし、「パワー」「コントロール」「ドロー/フェード」などの5項目をカスタマイズできます。
今回はオンラインプレイにも対応しています。1度に4人のプレイヤーが同時にプレイできるようになっていて、順番を気にせず、1ラウンドを速くプレイできるようになっています。
