年末期待の映画「ウォーリー」がゲームでも発売決定。THQジャパンは、ピクサー・アニメーション・スタジオとウォルト・ディズニー・ピクチャーズ制作の映画「ウォーリー」を題材にしたゲームをWii、PLAYSTATION3、ニンテンドーDSの3機種で2008年に発売する事を発表しました。Wii版とPS3版は6090円、DS版は5040円です。
ゲーム版『ウォーリー』は、映画を題材に世界を主人公視点で楽しむことのできるアクションアドベンチャーゲームで、廃棄物処理ロボット・ウォーリー(WALL-E)と調査ロボット・イヴとの交わりを描いた劇中ストーリーを元にゲームが展開されます。各ステージでは、一方、もしくは両方による協力プレイが楽しめるほか、対戦や協力プレイを複数人でできるマルチプレイヤーモードも用意されます。
また、Wii版とPS3版では映画ファン必見の映像やアートワークなどのボーナスコレクションも収録されます。
あらすじ
700 年前、人はゴミだらけになった地球を捨てて、宇宙に逃れた。残されたのはただ一人、ゴミ処理ロボットのウォーリー（WALL-E）だけ。気の遠くなるような長い孤独の中で、どんな時もコツコツと、地球上に山となったゴミをキューブのように固めて働き続けた。いつか誰かと会えることを信じて・・・。
