エレクトロニック・アーツは9月27日にWiiで発売する『ぼくとシムのまち』の公式サイトをオープンしました。
本作は全世界で8000万本を以上のセールスを記録した『Sims』シリーズの流れを汲む作品で、プレイヤーが街で唯一、家や家族をデザインできる特別なシムとして、街の住民たちが望む家や家具などをデザインし、街の住民を増やし、その街で自由気ままな生活を楽しむシミュレーションゲームです。
家具はパーツを組み合わせて形を作り、色づけをしていきます。色には到る所でゲットできる「エッセンス」を使います。エッセンスには「おいしい」「たのしい」「かわいい」「ぶきみな」「まじめな」「おたくな」エッセンスという6種類があり、プレイヤーの好みで多種多様なデザインが考えられます。
プレイヤーが舞台とする街は、かつてはたくさんのシムと呼ばれる住民で賑わっていたものの、現在では余りシムがいなくなってしまった街。それは住民に家や家具を作ってあげるエッセンスマスターがいなくなってしまったから! 特別な力を持つシムとして、街を救うためにやってきた主人公は、色々な場所で手に入るエッセンスで、住民たちの好みに合う家や家具をつくってあげ、住民を増やし、それぞれのハッピーエンドに向かっていきます。
9月27日発売、価格は6090円です。画面写真もいくつか公開しています。
