先日南青山にあるUBISOFTにて、Wiiで発売が予定されている『レッドスティール』と『レイマン 〜ラビッツ・パーティ〜』を一足早くプレイさせていただきました。せっかくの機会なので、体験した4人のスタッフそれぞれのインプレッションを全4回の連載形式で掲載したいと思います。各人それぞれのプレイ感想をお楽しみ下さい。

「レイマン」は主に海外で人気のアクションゲームの主人公です。今回Wiiで発売される『レイマン 〜ラビッツ パーティ〜』はそのレイマンと、凶暴なラビッツが活躍する、Wiiリモコンを使った楽しいバラエティゲーム集です。今回は、表参道にあるユービーアイソフトにて試遊させて頂けましたので紹介します。(今回プレイできた物は全くローカライズされてない物で、今後変更される可能性があります)

基本のプレイスタイルは右手にWiiリモコン、左手にヌンチャクです。激しい動きが多いので、覚悟が必要です(笑)。ゲームは「アクションゲーム」「シューティングゲーム」「ダンス(リズムアクション)」「レースゲーム」の4種類があり、計75種類ものゲームを楽しむ事ができます。リモコンで画面上をポイントしていき、AボタンやBボタンで決定していきます。

結論から言えば『レイマン 〜ラビッツ パーティ〜』はとっても楽しいバラエティゲーム集です。Wiiリモコンを使った、今までには考えられなかったアクションというだけでなく、フランス的(?)なハイセンスでキモカワイイ凶悪ラビッツ達の声や動きアクションを見ているだけでも楽しく、Wiiの1つの特徴でもある「遊ぶだけで、自分も周囲も笑顔に」を実現している気がしました(超笑顔で遊んでるMr.Cube写真は公開されませんあしからず--)。

気になったゲームをいくつか紹介します。

アクションからは「ウシ投げ」。巨大なウシを投げます(ハンマー投げのような)。リモコンを回してゲージを貯め、いいタイミングでボタンで投げます。もちろん距離を競います。本当にハンキー投げをするかのような動作で腕全体を使って、大きく振りかぶってブンブン振るのも楽しいでしょうし、ちょっと手首だけでクルクル回すだけでもレイマンは腕を回してくれ、それなりに楽しめます。この辺りはWiiのゲーム全般に言える点だと思います。こういうパーティゲームならブラブン振るのが正しいかもしれませんが(笑)

リズムゲームでは左右から流れてくるラビッツに合わせてリモコンとヌンチャクを振るゲームが楽しめました。リズムに乗って上手くプレイできると、ステージ上にラビッツがどんどん登場していき、ノリノリダンスを披露してくれます。これは『リズム天国』と同じように、画面の表示を見るよりは、音楽に合わせてノリノリでプレイした方が遊びやすそうです。

ちょっと面白いと思ったのは、レイマンが空を飛んでリングをくぐっていくフライトアクションのようなゲームです。Wiiリモコンをちょうど模型の飛行機のように持って、その動きがまんま画面上のレイマンに反映される形です。ゲーム自体は未完成のようで、スコアなどが表示されてませんでしたが、操作は楽しかったです。

まだまだ沢山のゲームがプレイできましたが、それは続きのスタッフが書くということで・・・。とにかく遊んでいて笑顔になるような、楽しく、そしてシュールなゲームが多数収録されています。『レイマン 〜ラビッツ パーティ〜』は12月発売予定、価格未定です。
